Mission 101

To be edited!

The Mission

Complete 101 preset goals or tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific, with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic, yet must represent some amount of work on your part.

Why 1001 Days?:
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several opportunities to complete certain tasks.

GOAL SETTING TIPS:
Be decisive. Know exactly what you want, why you want it, and how you plan to achieve it. Stay focused. Any goal requires sustained focus from beginning to end. Constantly evaluate your progress. Welcome failure. Frequently, very little is learned from a venture that did not experience failure in some form. Failure presents the opportunity to learn and makes the success more worthy. Write down your goals. It clarifies your thinking and reinforces your commitment. Keep your goals in sight. Review them frequently, and ensure that they are always at the forefront of your thinking.

**AvatarRating: 4.5 stars
Length: 162 Minutes
Producer: James Cameron
Date Released: December 18th, 2009

To be honest, I saw the commercials for Avatar. While I thought it looked curiously neat, I had no desire to watch it.
My father had purchased the movie and Matthew had wanted to watch it since it had made its way into our house.
My parents went away for a day so we had the house to ourselves. We actually had finished a couple movies that day.
One of them being Avatar. I gave the movie, produced by James Cameron (Titanic), a rating of four and a half stars because it was an inspirational movie. I felt like I related to everything the Na'vi said about their world and the life it inhabited. But the army... I hated the army. So much. They broke my heart.
I cried. A lot.

**New Moon
Rating: 3.5 stars
Length: 130 Minutes
Producer: Wyck Godfrey
Date Released: November 20th, 2009

When I heard of the Twilight Saga, it about made my stomach turn. Now, don't get me wrong... I adore vampires! But the movies and books just seemed so... cheesy! And, to be honest... they are. Incredibly. (The movies, at least, as I have yet to read the books.) But while Stephanie Meyers isn't the best writer and Wyck Godfrey isn't the best producer... The movies just have a certain charm to them. I rarely will enjoy watching movies... let alone multiple times. But the Twilight Saga are movies that I love watching again and again... And am left wanting to watch them again!
New Moon, the sequel to Twilight, jumped right into the good stuff... and by good stuff... I mean Edward being pathetic... as always. And when Jacob and his good looking self tries to help Bella, Edward will have no part of it. The most strange thing about the movie, though? Dakota Fanning. She's a teenager! That is so strange! Nevertheless... It was a fantastic movie. I've got a hard time with it, though. I run with the vampires and Matthew runs with the wolves. But it's okay... vampires and wolves both run fast. ;)

**Crazy Heart
Rating: 2.0 stars
Length: 112 Minutes
Producer: T Bone Burnett
Date Released: February 5th, 2010

I ordered this movie from DirecTv for my Dad, but he wanted Matthew and I to sit out in the living room and watch it with him. It was not a 'me' movie. Not at all. But I enjoyed it, enough. It was so very unoriginal, though. So very cliche. I thought it would have been worse but it sure wasn't a favourite of mine.

**ShortsRating: 3.5 stars
Length: 89 Minutes
Director: Robert Rodriguez
Date Released: August 21st, 2009

Shorts was adorable! I loved the way that the film was made! The way it would stop on someone's face as the main character spoke. It was just funny all around! Not to mention all of the good people it had in it! Like Jon Cryer and James Spader! Brings me back to watching Pretty In Pink!... Though I wasn't alive when it came out. ;)
This movie was totally cheesy but Matthew and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is certainly for the kid in all of us!

**Revenge of the Nerds
Rating:  4.5 stars
Length: 90 minutes
Producer: Jeff
Date Released: July 20th, 1984

I've always wanted to watch Revenge of the Nerds. Being quite the nerd myself... I'd always been curious as to what the movie was actually about. I hated the jocks and loved the nerds. My favourite part was definitely the 'sex on the moon' scene. I love me some nerd!
